Our Journey Through Time

1995

The Beginning

Michael Greene entered the diamond industry, laying the foundation for what would become Greene & Co.
1996

A Defining Year

Expanding into the Bay Area, Michael deepened his presence in Northern California. That same year, he met Asia Greene, whose partnership would become integral to the firm’s evolution and continued success.
1998-2001

The Sacramento Chapter

A private office was established, where early client relationships were cultivated, and sourcing networks refined with intention and discipline.
2000

The First Private Showroom

The first Greene & Co. private showroom opens. During this period, the firm establishes partnerships with the world’s top three diamond sight holder, securing direct access to exceptional stones at the source.
2008-2009

New York Entry

Operations expanded within the building, positioning Greene & Co. in close proximity to the center of New York’s diamond trade.
2009

Sacramento Transition

The original showroom was sold, concluding the firm’s first chapter of retail operations and allowing for a more focused, private client approach.
2010

Los Angeles Expansion

Greene & Co. established its first Los Angeles private showroom, extending its presence into a new and discerning market.
2014

Beverly Hills Establishment

A private showroom was opened in Beverly Hills, serving clients for seven years and further solidifying the firm’s West Coast presence.
2015

Departure from 580 Fifth Avenue

Operations at 580 Fifth Avenue concluded following the closure of the Diamond Dealers Club, marking the end of an era in the New York market.
2021

Beverly Hills Relocation

The firm transitioned to its current Beverly Hills private showroom, continuing its legacy of private, appointment-only service.
2022

New York Reestablished

Reopened a New York office on Park Avenue.
Feb 2026

Park Avenue Chapter Concluded

Closed the 505 Park Avenue office.
2026

New York Reopens

Greene & Co. reopened its New York doors, continuing its dual-coast legacy.
